PUBH 542 - Epidemiology II3 Credit Hours Epidemiology is the study of the distribution and determinants of health-related outcomes at the population level. Topics addressed include measures of disease, measures of effect, sources of error and bias, confounding and interaction, direct and indirect adjustment, and other methodological issues unique to the observational study designs utilized in public health practice. (RE) Prerequisite(s): PUBH 540 or consent of instructor. Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – graduate.
