BSE 511 - Mechanical Systems Engineering

3 Credit Hours
Fundamentals of power delivery systems and simple mechanisms; selection and design of mechanical, hydraulic, and tractive power transmission systems. Emphasis on off-road vehicles and bioprocessing systems.
Credit Restriction: students cannot receive credit for both 411 and 511.
Recommended Background: undergraduate engineering coursework in statics, dynamics, and mechanics of materials.
Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – graduate.
