ESM 659 - Advanced Qualitative Research in Education3 Credit Hours The analysis and writing of findings from qualitative data through multiple strategies. Potential analyses include various types of coding, narrative analysis, arts-based analyses, content analysis, visualization strategies, and more. (RE) Prerequisite(s): ESM 559 or similar doctoral qualitative methods course at instructor’s discretion. Comment(s): Students are required to bring two hours of existing transcribed data (suggested to be collected via interviews, though please contact the instructor for other data considerations). Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – graduate.
