COSC 559 - Human-Computer Interaction3 Credit Hours An in-depth study on the field of human-computer interaction with particular emphasis on understanding how human factors shape the creation and evaluation of usable and useful computational artifacts. Provides an overview of basic phenomena of human perception, cognition, memory, and problem solving, and relationship to user-centered design. Methods and techniques for interaction design and evaluation. Recommended Background: Undergraduate coursework in software engineering.
