SPED 530 - Applied Behavior Analysis in School Settings3 Credit Hours Emphasizes the application of applied behavior analysis principles including the study of designing, implementing, and evaluating behavior analytic interventions relevant to alleviating significant problem behaviors in the classroom setting. Learners examine topics in the use of applied behavior analysis such as direct instruction, behavior reduction, functional analysis, positive behavioral supports, and ethical issues in the use of various procedures.
