ECE 582 - Power Electronic Circuits3 Credit Hours A design-oriented introduction course to the analysis, design, modeling, and testing of power electronics systems. Through laboratory experiments, students are guided through the fabrication of the multiple switched-mode power converters and associated analog and digital control systems. The course culminates with a design exposition/competition of the constructed circuits. Recommended Background: ECE 481 or equivalent. Registration Permission: Consent of instructor.
