Same as BIOL 159 * but designed for high-achieving students.
Satisfies Volunteer Core Requirement: (EI)
Satisfies General Education Requirement through the 2021-2022 academic catalog: (NS with lab) if taken with BIOL 150 *, BIOL 158 , BIOL 160 *, or BIOL 168 *.
Contact Hour Distribution: 1 hour discussion and one 3-hour lab.
Credit Restriction: Students may not receive credit for both BIOL 159 * and BIOL 167.
