GEOL 203 - Geology of National Parks3 Credit Hours Geologic principles, processes, and earth materials responsible for the spectacular landscapes of national parks. Focus on interactions among internal earth processes, surficial earth processes, and human interactions. Writing-emphasis course.
Satisfies Volunteer Core Requirement: (NS) Satisfies General Education Requirement through the 2021-2022 academic catalog: (NS) Contact Hour Distribution: 3 hours lecture and an optional field trip. Credit Restriction: May not be applied toward the geology concentration.
