ECE 482 - Power Electronic Circuits3 Credit Hours Design-oriented introduction to the analysis, design, modeling, and testing of power electronics systems. Through practical laboratory experiments, students are guided through the fabrication of the multiple switched-mode power converters as well as associated analog and digital control systems to realize a complete functioning power conversion system. The course culminates with a design exposition/competition.
(RE) Prerequisite(s): ECE 481 or ECE 487 with a grade of C or better.
