Structural characterization and tailoring of thin films for implant-specific applications. Growth of thin films on biomaterial surfaces, the biological interface and biocompatibility. Uniformity, adhesion, cytotoxicity and bacterial reduction synergy. Application of thin films in tissue engineering and stem cell technologies.
