CLAS 446 - Archaeological Statistics3 Credit Hours Introduction to quantitative methods within the field of archaeology. Case studies are used to introduce students to basic statistical and computational concepts germane to archaeological problems and questions, involving active learning and problem solving. Topics include logic, probability, sampling, exploratory data analysis, modeling, inference, introductory linear algebra, and introductory multivariate statistics. Students will be trained in R as a programming language.
