GRDS 271 - Beginning Graphic Design I

3 Credit Hours
Introduction to the elements and principles of graphic design and concept development. Survey of design tools, materials, and processes. Emphasis on creative strategies for idea generation and the relationship of visual form and meaning.

Repeatability: May be repeated. Maximum 6 hours.
Credit Restriction: Cannot receive credit for both Art Design/Graphic 251 and Graphic Design 271.
(RE) Prerequisite(s): 101, 102, 103, 150, and 200.
(RE) Corequisite(s): 255.
