PUBH 610 - Scientific Writing for the Health Sciences1 Credit Hours
A one-hour graduate seminar focusing on the craft of writing for scientific publications. Students will gain experience in various writing styles, will learn techniques specific to scientific writing, will understand the importance of accurate referencing, and will gain experience in composing cover letters and how to respond to reviewers. Students will learn by writing and critiquing each other. A required course in the DrPH curriculum.
Grading Restriction: Satisfactory/No Credit grading only.
Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – graduate.
