BIOL 150 - Organismal and Ecological Biology3 Credit Hours Intended for science majors, an introduction to the major biological concepts emphasizing the organismal and ecological aspects of life. Organized along themes of evolution, structure and function, information flow, exchange and storage, pathways of energy and matter, and systems.
Satisfies General Education Requirement: (NS) Contact Hour Distribution: 2 hours lecture and one 1-hour biological literacy session (BioLit). Credit Restriction: Students may not receive credit for both 150 and 158. Comment(s): Although not required, it is recommended that 150 and 160 be taken in sequence.
