IE 350 - Leadership in Industrial Engineering II: Team Building Skills1 Credit Hours Aspects of leadership in a professional environment will be studied from current literature reading and discussions. Industry professionals will periodically lead the class to enlighten students to aspects of the practice of industrial engineering. Teams will be formed for a semester-long project addressing a contemporary issue in industrial engineering either from industry collaborations or from societal concerns. Teams will execute literature search, construct customer surveys, write a formal paper and present their findings.
Satisfies General Education Requirement: (WC) (RE) Prerequisite(s): 250. Registration Restriction(s): Industrial engineering major; minimum student level ― junior.
