ANSC 328 - Honors: Reproductive Physiology and Lactation3 Credit Hours Biology of sex and sexual differentiation, functional anatomy of male and female, reproduction and lactation, gametogenesis, neuroendocrinology and endocrinology of reproduction and lactation, sex cycles, folliculogenesis, ovulation, spermatogenesis, fertilization, embryonic development, implantation, pregnancy, parturition, initiation of lactation and maintenance of the dry period, artificial control of reproduction and lactation.
Contact Hour Distribution: 2 hours and 1 lab. (RE) Prerequisite(s): Grade of C– or better in 220, Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology 230, or Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology 440; or consent of instructor. Comment(s): Enriched version of ANSC 320. Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – junior.
