NURS 381 - Professional Development in Nursing

2 Credit Hours
Emphasis on development of personal attributes necessary for professional practice such as: emotional intelligence, caring, critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, motivation and management of time, stress, and anger. The course content also includes theories and principles of interpersonal capacities and strategies used in any health care setting such as communication, delegation, and management of teams, conflicts, and changes.

(RE) Prerequisite(s): 311 and 341.
Registration Restriction(s): Bachelor of Science in Nursing ― nursing major.
