HIST 343 - History of Mexico

Survey of Mexican history from pre-Columbian period to the present. Highlights Mexico’s political, economic and social development under Spanish colonial rule, the emergence of the Mexican nation state after Independence, the Mexican Revolution, and the post-revolutionary period.
