SPAN 332 - Survey of Spanish Literature: 1700-Present3 Credit Hours
Main writers, trends, stylistic periods, and artistic movements in Spain since 1700 set against a broad background of cultural, socio-political and historical developments. Emphasis on neo-classicism, the romantics, the realists of the 19th century, the Generation of ‘98, the avant-garde of the 1920s and 1930s, social realism, women writers, and contemporary developments.
