ECE 313 - Probability and Random Variables

3 Credit Hours
Set theory, axioms of probability, Bayes’ theorem. Discrete and continuous random variables and probability density functions. Expectation, sample mean and variance. Central limit theorem. Parameter estimation and hypothesis testing.

(RE) Prerequisite(s): Mathematics 142 or 148.
