Knoxville Campus Admissions Standards/Procedures
Graduate students who wish to increase their knowledge of food science or integrate this interdisciplinary science with other fields of study may choose the Food Science Graduate Minor. Students must notify the Director of Graduate Studies of their intention to declare FDSC Minor on their Admission to Candidacy form. The student’s committee must include a member of the FDSC faculty from the department who will be responsible for designating courses required for the minor. Academic Standards
The student must be in good academic standing with the Graduate School. Credit Hours Required
9 graduate credit hours. Required Courses
9 graduate credit hours in FDSC courses 400-level or above, with at least 6 credit hours in 500-level courses excluding FDSC 500, 502, 503, 504, 592, 600, 601, 603 (Note: only those 400-level courses listed in the Graduate Catalog may be selected). |
