Discovery Modules
Some programs in the College of Music include a Discovery Module requirement. This offers a compact approach to discovering new passions, interests, or literacies through connected curricular themes. Students in programs with this requirement may satisfy it in one of four ways:
- Complete a six-credit Discovery Module
- Completion of six credit hours of study abroad coursework + one GCI course. The GCI course is in addition to their Vol Core requirement.
- Completion of a minor, a second concentration, certificate program, or a second major. The minor or second major may be in the College of Music or in another college.
- Completion of all Air Force or Army ROTC program requirements.
Discovery Module courses may not overlap with other program of study requirements.
