The minor in Human Interaction and Intelligent Systems equips students with interdisciplinary knowledge at the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and intelligent technologies. This program emphasizes user-centered design, adaptive system development, and the ethical integration of AI and machine learning into everyday applications. Students will gain skills in designing accessible and engaging interfaces, analyzing user behavior, and addressing societal challenges associated with intelligent systems. The program culminates in a hands-on capstone project, where students collaborate on real-world challenges to design, prototype, and test intelligent systems that address user needs in fields such as healthcare, education, entertainment, or public services.
