The Educational Studies Concentration under the Education major prepares students to work within the field of education in areas not requiring a teaching license. Students complete courses in theory and methods of teaching along with professional electives of their choosing. While not required, a minor can also easily be incorporated into this major. The Educational Studies Concentration requires a 2.5 cumulative GPA. To remain in good standing in the program, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Students must earn a grade of C or better in all core education courses. Students with less than a 2.5 GPA for two consecutive semesters will be dropped from the program.
Progression Requirements
Students interested in this degree should work closely with their advisors to ensure that they understand program requirements and how to leverage coursework toward future career aspirations. Core Courses and Educational Studies Specialization courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher. Students must complete the program with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

uTrack Requirements
Universal Tracking (uTrack) is an academic monitoring system designed to help students stay on track for timely graduation. In order to remain on track, students must complete the minimum requirements for each tracking semester, known as milestones. Milestones include successful completion of specified courses and/or attainment of a minimum GPA. uTrack requirements only affect full-time, degree-seeking students. Term 4
