The undergraduate certificate in Applications of Uncrewed Aerial Systems provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively use drones (Small Uncrewed Aerial Systems, sUAS) in variety of business and public sector domains. The program will prepare students to operate sUAS in a safe and responsible manner and to become licesnsed sUAS pilots.

Undergraduate Certificate Type: Stand-Alone
Credit Hours Required
The Applications of Uncrewed Aerial Systems Certificate consists of 12 credit hours. Courses for the certificate must be completed with a grade of “C” or better. In such cases, students must repeat courses and earn a grade of C or better prior to the awarding of the certificate from the University of Tennessee. Admissions Standards/Procedures
Students seeking admission to the Undergraduate Certificate must meet the admissions standards established by the Undergraduate Council. Required Courses (6 Credit Hours)
