The Chancellor's Honors Program Minor delivers the knowledge, skills, experiences, and dispositions needed for students to effectively engage with complex problems as a multidisciplinary community of scholars. Using a design thinking framework, the minor prioritizes a collaborative and methodical approach to learning and ideation to address contemporary issues.

Eligibility
The Chancellor’s Honors Program Minor is reserved for students in the Chancellor’s Honors Program (CHP). First-year applicants with superior academic and extracurricular credentials are invited to apply. Qualified transfer students with less than or equal to one year of credit can apply. Problem-Solving Sequence
Three-course sequence focused on understanding and ideating around contemporary complex problems. Communication Enhancement
- Vol Core approved honors Written Communication (WC) (3 credit hours)
- Vol Core approved honors Oral Communication (OC) or Applied Oral Communication (AOC) (3 credit hours)
College/Departmental Honors Courses
- Choice of honors course in your major, an honors course related to your problem of interest, or an honors design/research-based course (3 credit hours)
