Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies Minor

The minor consists of 18 hours (above 200-level) taken from courses offered by at least three different academic departments, selected from the courses listed in either Interdisciplinary Programs Major, BA - Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies Concentration - Arts, Culture, Society, and Politics of Latin America and the Caribbean Track   and/or  Interdisciplinary Programs Major, BA - Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies Concentration - Challenges and Solutions of Climate and the Environment in Latin America and the Caribbean Track . Students pursuing a minor in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies are expected to satisfy the College-level foreign language requirement with one of the languages from the region: French, Portuguese, or Spanish.

Minor Requirements


The minor Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies in consists of 18 credit hours.
