Entomology and Plant Pathology are interdisciplinary sciences that focus on the study of plant diseases and insects, respectively. Graduate students who wish to broaden their knowledge of both sciences, or integrate these topics with other fields of study, may choose the combined Entomology and Plant Pathology minor.

Admissions Standards/Procedures
The student must be accepted by the Office of Graduate Admissions and a department or program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Graduate students in the Entomology and Plant Pathology department are not eligible.
Academic Standards
The student must be in good academic standing with the Graduate School.
Credit Hours Required
9 graduate credit hours
Required Courses
9 credit hours of course work in the department with at least 6 credit hours in 500-level courses and above (excluding EPP 500 , EPP 502 , EPP 600 , EPP 603 , EPP 640 , and EPP 675 ).
Non-Course Requirements
The student’s graduate committee must include a member of the faculty from the Entomology and Plant Pathology department who will advise the student on courses required for the minor.
