Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Exploratory Program


The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Exploratory program is designed for students who are deciding among one or more majors in the College. It allows students to explore major options as well as make progress toward graduation through the completion of general education courses. Exploratory students are required to meet with their advisor every semester.

All full-time, degree-seeking students who first entered Fall 2013 or later must transition out of the exploratory track into a major no later than the end of the fourth tracking semester. Transfer students admitted as exploratory students must transition out of the exploratory track into a major no later than the end of their second tracking semester.

Meets a Natural Sciences (NS) General Education requirement. Students choosing BIOL 150 *-BIOL 160 *-BIOL 159 * should take CHEM 120 *-CHEM 130 * for their physical science electives.

6 Physical science courses include any chemistry, physics, or geology. Most College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources majors will require chemistry.
