uTrack Requirements (for first-year students)

Universal Tracking (uTrack) is an academic monitoring system designed to help students stay on track for timely graduation. In order to remain on track, students must complete the minimum requirements for each tracking semester known as milestones. Milestones include successful completion of specified courses and/or attainment of a minimum GPA. uTrack requirements only affect first-time, first-year, full-time, degree-seeking students entering Fall 2013.

This curriculum meets the requirements for entrance to the UT College of Veterinary Medicine. After the first successful year in the professional school, obtaining a minimum of 120 hours of college credit, the student will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a major in Animal Science. Should the student not gain admittance after the junior year, the student will complete the requirements during the senior year for a major in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary concentration.
