The Department of Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science offers three undergraduate degree programs – Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Construction Science and Management, and Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Soil Sciences. The Bachelor of Science in Biosystem Engineering (BSE) is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission(s) of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Biological Engineering Program Criteria. BSE emphasizes engineering applications to complex biological systems. Construction science and management is a four-year program for students interested in construction management. Environmental and soil sciences is a strong science-based program for students interested in environmental science or soil science. A minor in environmental and soil sciences is also available. More detailed descriptions of each program are included with the curricular material that follows.
