PHYS 221 - Elements of Physics

4 Credit Hours
Basic physical principles and applications required in pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy and pre-veterinary programs. Mechanics, heat, wave motion, and optics.

Satisfies General Education Requirement: (NS)
Contact Hour Distribution: 3 hours lecture and 3 hours lab.
(RE) Prerequisite(s): Mathematics 130 or 125 or 141 or 151 or 152.
Comment(s): Any calculus course is also an appropriate prerequisite.
