MARK 495 - Social Media Marketing

3 Credit Hours
This course teaches students how to create, implement, and maintain an effective social media strategy in support of business objectives. It provides an understanding of how to establish an authentic voice, create engaging content through storytelling, develop a content calendar, determine appropriate key performance indicators for campaigns, and leverage analytics to achieve maximum impact and efficiency. The course explores the major social media channels used in business and provides students with insight on the skills needed for a successful career in social media.  

(RE) Prerequisite(s): MARK 465  with a grade of C or better.
Registration Restriction(s): Majors in the Haslam College of Business.
