GEOG 461 - Russia and Its Neighbors

3 Credit Hours
This course will focus on the world’s largest country, the Russian Federation, which is unique due to its complex regional dynamics. Geographically, Russia is one of the major players in the continent. Concentrating on Russia allows focusing on some of the most important geopolitical and geo-economic issues that involve almost the entire continent. The major approach of this course is to focus on spatial aspects of the cultural, environmental, historical, and current geopolitical diversity types of development of the region.

Grading Restriction: Letter Grade Only
Recommended Background: World Geography or Equivalent
