CCI 101 - Examining the World of Communication and Information1 Credit Hours
Introduction to the role of communication, media, and information in society. Introduction to finding, organizing, and evaluating information. Special focus will be given to how the disciplines within the College overlap and how they are distinct. Emerging trends in communication, media, and information will be explored. Information discernment and media literacy will also be examined through an interdisciplinary lens.
Credit Restriction: Students may not receive credit for CCI 150* and CCI 101.
Registration Restriction(s): Majors in the College of Communication and Information only.
