HIUS 442 - Religion in the United States: Revolution to Recent Past

This course explores American religious history from the era of the American Revolution to the recent past. The course pays special attention to the relationship between religion and politics, along with the themes of diversity and pluralism, racial inequality and religious expression, tolerance and coercion, and the impact of immigration.
