NURS 371R* - Introduction to Evidence-Based Practice

3 Credit Hours
This course introduces the foundational concepts and skills needed to integrate the best available evidence, clinical expertise, and patient values into nursing practice. Students learn to search, analyze, and critique research to address clinical questions and improve patient outcomes. Emphasis is placed on applying an evidence-based practice framework, exploring legal and ethical considerations, evaluating research and other evidence, and developing competencies in making informed, person-centered clinical decisions.
