NURS 354 - Leadership I for the Accelerated Student1 Credit Hours This course prepares students to transition into the role of a professional nurse by identifying the knowledge and skills essential for effective leadership. Emphasizing evidence-based practice, effective communication, and collaboration within interprofessional teams, students will explore the historical foundations of nursing, develop strategies for conflict resolution, and gain a deeper understanding of the delegation process. Through a focus on ethical principles, students will also develop a personal nursing philosophy that supports compassionate, person-centered care across diverse healthcare settings.
(RE) Corequisite(s): NURS 309 , NURS 316 , NURS 322 , and NURS 333 . Registration Restriction(s): Bachelor of Science in Nursing – nursing major (accelerated track).
