First of a two-course sequence in applied public problem solving. Using real problems identified by public sector partner(s), students work in teams to design an original research project. Students demonstrate competencies in sampling, survey design, econometric models, and statistical analysis software. Emphasis on skills in professional writing, communicating with data, and project management.
