PLSC 330* - Plant Propagation3 Credit Hours The art of plant propagation is as old as civilization. Throughout human history, farmers and gardeners have observed, learned, and adapted from nature ways to multiply plants in cultivation. This course explores the principles and practices for increasing plant numbers with emphasis on the anatomical and physiological basis for various methods. Exploration of lecture concepts via seed starting, tissue culture, cuttings, layering, grafting, and other practical techniques.
