NURS 444 - Pediatric Nursing for the Accelerated Student

3 Credit Hours
Students acquire evidence-based knowledge essential for providing personcentered care to children and their support systems from diverse backgrounds. Emphasis is placed on understanding pediatric growth and development, applying communication techniques tailored to the developmental needs of pediatric patients, and accurately calculating drug dosages. Students will learn to develop person-centered approaches that respect cultural differences and support the health and well-being of pediatric patients across various stages of growth.

Contact Hour Distribution: 2 lectures and 1 lab.
