NURS 201 - Introduction to Nursing

2 Credit Hours
This course explores the history, philosophy, and scope of nursing practice, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, clinical judgment models, person-centered care, and therapeutic communication. Students will identify the impact of social drivers/determinants of health on patient outcomes, developing a holistic approach to nursing care that addresses diverse individual needs.
