ANTH 325* - Migration and Transnationalism

3 Credit Hours
Case studies of immigrant, refugee, and displaced populations and changing patterns of culture, identity, and community under conditions of globalization. With a writing focus, this course requires a student to complete at least 2,000 words of writing during the semester. This normally consists of at least one sustained formal essay or report of 1,000 or more words, plus additional writing assignments such as in-class essay exams, journals, book reviews, short-response papers, and the like.

Satisfies Volunteer Core Requirement: (EI)
Recommended Background: ANTH 130*  or ANTH 137* .
