NURS 516 - Advanced Pathophysiology: Neurological/Cardiovascular with Anesthesia Implications2 Credit Hours Review of anatomy and physiology and integration of pathophysiology involved in patients requiring anesthetic care for cardiac surgical procedures (both children and adults) with and without cardiopulmonary bypass, intercranial surgical procedures for vascular and mass occupying lesions, patients requiring somatosensory evoked potential monitoring, and patients requiring anesthesia for noncardiac and non-neurological procedures who present with either neurological and/or cardiovascular comorbidity. (RE) Prerequisite(s): 524 and 525. (RE) Corequisite(s): 523. Credit Level Restriction: Graduate credit only. Registration Restriction(s): Master of Science in Nursing - nursing major/nurse anesthesia concentration. Minimum student level – graduate.
