LAW 965 - Community Development3 Credit Hours Considers legal issues faced by under-represented constituencies. Students work on law-related field projects under lawyer supervision, collaborating with organizations that serve or advocate for the under-represented in and around Knoxville. Projects may include legal research, legislative drafting and advocacy, creation of educational materials or events, empirical research, and recording of oral histories. Comment(s): Enrollment is limited. Student must prepare a written statement of interest before being admitted to the course. Registration Restriction(s): Law students only.
