ECE 455 - Embedded Systems Design

3 Credit Hours
Design and development of embedded systems for data acquisition and special-purpose computing systems. Topics covered include direct memory access, real-time software development, use of real-time operating systems, embedded system analysis, and embedded system networking. Students will learn approaches for improving embedded system performance in terms of power, speed and resource utilization.

(RE) Prerequisite(s): ECE 256  with a grade of C or better.
