MICR 479 - Advanced Techniques in Nucleic Acid Sequencing

3 Credit Hours
Capstone, student-driven research experience. Introduction to nucleic acid isolation, sample preparation, traditional and high-throughput sequencing technologies and data analysis. Emphasis on oral presentations and written reports.

(RE) Prerequisite(s): Biology 220, 229, and 240.
Recommended Background: Microbiology 321 and 329.
Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – senior.
