EDPY 603 - Mediated Learning Theory

3 Credit Hours
Seminar focused on in-depth study of the ideas of Lev Vygotsky and Reuven Feuerstein. Emphasis placed on exploring various aspects of these theories as they relate to other social constructivist ideas and implications for practice in many types of educational settings that are supported by research, with specific focus on a theoretical framework for meeting the needs of marginalized learners.
Registration Restriction(s): Minimum student level – graduate.
