FREN 425 - Introduction to Descriptive Linguistics

3 Credit Hours
Initiation into the theory and practice of techniques of linguistic analysis in the subfields of phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics and historical linguistics. Discussion of their relevance to the learning and teaching of foreign languages and to the study of literary texts.
