ARCH 363 - Design Implementation III: Building in Concrete and Hybrid Systems

2 Credit Hours
Design and expression with structural archetypes of reinforced concrete, including combinations with masonry and steel. Emphasis on formal ordering systems and essential behaviors, including structure to skin relationships. Associated interior and exterior enclosure materials, methods, performance, and high-performance skins. Design guideline sizing and detailed calculations. Combination lecture and lab format. First half semester course.

Contact Hour Distribution: 1 hour lecture, 1 hour lab.
